Bertrand Creek Enhancement Society

Formed in 1993 the BCES has evolved into a group of concerned and dedicated residents of the Aldergrove Community. Our Vision is to restore and revitalize Bertrand Creek as a living greenway that preserves wildlife habitat, while providing opportunity for outdoor recreation.  Thus our task is to bring Bertrand Creek back to a natural clean productive stream, with a green belt and well treed stream sides with small parks, trails, bridges, view points and interpretive signs, that are in harmony with fish, wildlife and the community giving people a place to teach, relax and enjoy nature.

The BCES is coordinated by Langley Environmental Partners Society (LEPS). We host lively monthly meetings, summer pot lucks and many community events throughout the year.
BCES is always looking for new members from the Aldergrove community to assist us with our stewardship activities and welcome new members at our monthly meetings. Membership is $5.00 annually.  BCES meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at:

Aldergrove Community School Library,
26850 29th Avenue, Aldergrove, from 7:00- 9:00PM.
