The Metro Vancouver Parks Department, is a partner in all the projects the Pacific Parklands Foundation raises funds and in kind support for.
All of the projects and programs take place within the Metro Vancouver regional parks and there is considerable staff and financial support from the department, during both the development and maintenence phases of the projects.
Most of the projects have start up funds provided by Metro Vancouver and often there are matching funds available.
This is a true partnership between different levels of government, volunteers (park partners) and private funders.
