Thwaytes Landing Regional Park

Metro Vancouver's newest Regional Park: a 130-acre property in Indian Arm, North Vancouver. The last remaining undeveloped oceanfront property in the Lower Mainland

Pacific Parklands Foundation is pleased to play a small role, along with major contributors Metro Vancouver Parks and District of North Vancouver, in seeing this 130-acre waterfront piece on the west shore of Indian Arm preserved as Metro Vancouver's 24th park site!

The Land Conservancy of BC is also helping to raise funds to complete the financing necessary to cover the purchase price. This cooperative effort has resulted in an outstanding new park being available for kayakers and canoeists to enjoy (there is no road access), and will eventually be linked by walking trails to nearby Indian Arm Provincial Park. Total purchase price is $1.5 million. The Foundation is raising $200,000 as its contribution.
